Most delays in activation come from a missing or unclear document. Keep these ready before you start, and registration takes a few minutes.
For retailers
- Aadhaar card: the name should match your PAN card.
- PAN card: a clear photo of the original.
- Shop photo: taken from the front, with the name board visible if you have one.
- Bank account details: account number and IFSC of an account in your name. A cancelled cheque or passbook photo helps.
- Mobile number: linked to your Aadhaar, for one-time codes.
Extra documents for distributors
- GST registration, if your business has one
- Business address proof, such as a rent agreement or electricity bill
- Firm PAN, if you're registering as a firm or company
Tips for clear photos
- Place the card on a plain, dark surface.
- Use daylight and avoid flash glare.
- Make sure all four corners are visible and the text is readable.
